In the Summer of 2015 we were commissioned by the Bartlett Street Antiques Centre in Bath to survey, dismantle and restore this beautiful 6m wide overthrow which had, for many years been hanging high over Bartlett Street, a picturesque pedestrian side street in Georgian Bath’s main shopping district.
[…] that we were involved in the restoration of the beautiful overthrow which hangs high up above the shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and antiques centre of the Bartlett St Quarter in Bath.
[…] our work has been stunningly recreated in a 12″ Victoria sponge and white fondant icing by the clever team at Bath Cake Company, located just next to Bartlett Street here in Bath.
The Ironart Twitter feed has been very active this week as the shop owners, shoppers and residents on Bartlett Street have noticed the scaffolding coming down.
