In the atumn of 2013 we were commissioned to design, make and install an exciting new project – a unique tented dining pavilion for Frances Atkins at the Yorke Arms near Harrogate. Frances is a highly respected Michelin starred Chef and, together with her husband Bill they have created a critically acclaimed destination ‘restaurant with rooms’.
The dining pavilion or ‘Onion’ as it affectionately known, is located in the immaculately-tended vegetable and herb garden at the Yorke Arms. During the summer months the bespoke canvas cover creates an intimate dining experience, designed for eight guests, seated around an integral fire pit and canopy.
In the winter standing unadorned, the pavilion is a stunning focal point in a the landscape. It is a simple yet elegant structure, fully galvanized to withstand the worst of Yorkshire weather.
If you are interested in commissioning a dining pavilion for your own space, the team at Ironart would be delighted to help, so please get in touch.
