A new staircase on the Royal Crescent
The Ironart team recently installed this winding staircase to the lower ground floor of a large Georgian town house on the Royal Crescent in Bath for Simon Morray-Jones Architects.
Bespoke handrails in Widcombe
As part of a much bigger project we installed this pair of bespoke handrails on the steps of a really lovely large Georgian house in Widcombe, Bath.
Pretty garden balustrade panels
We are lucky enough to visit some very special houses and gardens through our work. These pretty panels were designed as edge protection for a garden on Greenway Lane in Bath.
Bay tree planters in SW London
The Ironart team were commissioned to make some simple but effective steel planters/edging for a house in South West London for garden designer Alex Miller.
Saturday morning Blacksmithing workshop
Last weekend Martin led a group of four friends from Bradford on Avon through a blacksmithing workshop session.
The dynamic quartet raced through the basics of forging and quickly progressed to making some really interesting and unique pieces, including a candlestick, boot rack, hanging basket bracket and WW1 commemorative ceramic poppy holder.
Cavendish Crescent canopy restoration
In December and January the Ironart team oversaw the restoration of three zinc canopies decorating Georgian town houses on Cavendish Crescent, Bath.

We are delighted to welcome two new blacksmiths to the Ironart team. Alan Patterson is a highly experienced smith with many years of forging and some illustrious blacksmithing projects to his name.
