Today the Ironart team welcomed Judith Quiney, the Promotions and Marketing Director at NADFAS. Judith and Jane visited our workshop to film James and Cecilie for the NADFAS website and AGM.
We finally got back on site to reinstate the magificent set of entrance gates from a large country house near Wincanton, that were restored earlier in 2013.
We’re lucky enough to have Simon Bushell here for a short while. Simon has completed the Hereford College Design & Forgework Skills course, and has joined the Ironart team to help out on a few projects.

We were commissioned to restore the railings on steps to the rear of Camden Crescent in Bath. The images show the project from removal, through refurbishment (and in some instances replacement) right through to the reinstatement and leading-in to the stonework on site.

We have recently completed a large and prestigious project on Lansdown in Bath for Nimbus Conservation. The ‘Pleasure gardens’ are located immediately west of Lansdown Crescent and form the focal point for Somerset Place, a grand sweep of elegant Georgian houses.
We created a beautiful canopy for an historic private property near Lacock, this time for local architects Simon Morray-Jones, Bath. The canopy incorporated some large reclaimed cast iron decorative columns, mild steel, wood and glass.
