This unique pair of contemporary gates with side panels were made for clients with a lovely house just north of Bath. They frame the entrance to an established, impressive vegetable garden. Andy sketched several concepts based on the brief ‘Alliums’ and our clients settled on this design which takes inspiration from the flowing organic lines inside a sliced onion.
This project was completed a few years ago, with the design element realised by Mary. Jason was responsible for overseeing the majority of the forgework, and the gates were finished in black gloss paint by Dean, and fitted on site by Luke and Ted. These gates and panels were galvanized for ease of future maintenance before being painted.
